Zymar Eye Drops is a quinolone antibiotic for eye infections that treat only bacterial eye infections.

Use the Zymar eye drop as prescribed by your doctor. To use the Zymar eye drops:

• First, wash your hands. Then tilt the head back and pull the lower eyelid away from the eye to form a pouch. Drop the medicine into the pouch and gently close your eyes. Do not blink. Keep the eyes closed for 1 or 2 minutes to allow the medicine to come into contact with the infection.
• Keep the container tightly closed.
• To help clear up your eye infection completely, keep using this medicine for the full time of treatment, even if your symptoms have disappeared and if you feel better after the first few doses. If you stop using the medicine too soon, your infection may not clear up. Do not miss any doses.

Before using Zymar Eye Drops, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history and if you are allergic to it, quinolone antibiotics or any other allergies. This product may contain inactive ingredients, which can cause allergic reactions or other problems. 

After you apply Zymar Eye Drops, your vision may become temporarily blurred. Do not drive, use machinery, or do any activity requiring clear vision until you can safely perform such activities.
